Betway Do Deal With UK talkSPORT's Radio & Sponsor West Ham Too!

27 Feb. 2015

Already so far in 2015, there have been 3 casino sponsorship/partnership deals concluded in the UK.

Bodog.com has continued one of the longest sponsorship deals in Scottish footballing history with their new and improved 5th year ongoing shirt sponsorship deal with Ayr United.

Although financial details have yet to be released, news of additional funds injected into this Scottish League One Football team, will fill both of the parties with increased optimism, things couldn't look better!

Next up there is also news of Betway throwing their hat into the British Footballing arena, crossing the North South divide into England securing deals with East London based Premiership team West Ham United, and the world's biggest sports radio station talkSPORT, also based in the U.K.

Betway have been focusing on increasing their market share of the UK gambling market for quite a while now. They kicked their marketing efforts into top gear during the 2014 World Cup, and now look set to move in to overdrive with their latest partnership deals.

Fans of talkSPORTS's Weekend Sports Breakfast Show can now expect a vast array of up to the minute football odds across all the markets offered by Betway. This will now add to all the latest football news and analysis from Micky Quinn and Georgie Bingham for all their avid listeners to devour.

Football betting in the UK is hugely popular, and linking arms with a recognised Premier League worldwide audio partner, is an impressive coup that Betway have pulled off.

Not only that, talkSPORT are the official broadcasters of the FA Cup, Capital One Cup and also the England national football team. Along with so many games being played throughout the season, massive brand exposure will be guaranteed, and help them gain a grip on this valuable market.

Looking towards Betway's sponsorship deal with Premiership club West Ham United, it would seem that they really couldn't have picked a better time. West Ham United had been previously sponsored by foreign exchange company Alpari. In January 2015 it was announced that their sponsors had been declared insolvent, leaving the Hammers with an unexpected loss of £4 million.

Stepping in swiftly to become the clubs new sponsor is very smart business indeed. Everyone in the premiership has been amazed at West Ham's progress this season reaching the dizzy heights of 3rd in the Premiership before Christmas.

They signed 9 new players in the summer transfer window, for very little money, and they move in 2016 to the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Stadium which will increase their focus of attention on a global scale. All good news for Betway, what a great way to start their 2015!
